A Midsummer Nights Dream Cover, 2022, Traditional Mixed Media and Digital, 6 x 9 in
A redesigned cover for Shakespeare's A Midsummer Nights Dream. One of two Shakespeare cover redesigns I did last semester, this piece provided a fun and whimsical challenge. Unlike many of my other pieces displayed in my portfolio, I started this piece traditionally. I used watercolor, watercolor pencils, and some gouache, and then finished it digitally, cleaning some things up, and adding text with adobe software.
